Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms that apply when you book a trip with Trixigo. Please read carefully, as by proceeding with a booking, you agree to abide by these conditions.

Booking Amount

The Booking Amount is strictly Non-Refundable under all circumstances.

Refund Policy for Cancellations by the Participant

Short Duration / Weekend Trips (Less than 3 Days)

  • Up to 60 days before departure: 0% deduction (full refund of balance amount)
  • 59 to 45 days before departure: 50% deduction
  • 45 to 25 days before departure: 70% deduction
  • 24 to 7 days before departure: 80% deduction
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund

Long Duration Trips (More than 3 Days)

  • Up to 75 days before departure: 0% deduction
  • 75 to 45 days before departure: 50% deduction
  • 45 to 15 days before departure: 75% deduction
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund

International Trips

  • Up to 75 days before departure: 0% deduction
  • 75 to 45 days before departure: 50% deduction
  • 45 to 30 days before departure: 75% deduction
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund

Rules for Change/Cancellation by the Participant

  • Process: Email your cancellation/change request to [email protected]. No requests will be accepted via phone calls or WhatsApp. Always respond to the confirmation email for such requests.
  • Replacement of Participant: You may replace a participant in your booking if done at least 7 days before the trip. However, replacement is not valid for bookings that include non-transferable travel like Volvo, Train, or Flight tickets.

Mode of Refund

  • Upon approval, a Credit Note will be issued via email within 2 working days.
  • Note: No cash refunds are provided; only credit notes.

Charges

Payment Gateway Charges: 2.5% and other charges will be deducted from refunds

Changes/Cancellation by Trixigo

Trixigo reserves the right to cancel, alter, or amend any part of the trip, itinerary, or pricing. While we strive to inform you of changes in advance, external factors may sometimes necessitate last-minute updates.

Force Majeure Events

In case of natural disasters, government orders, or unforeseen circumstances like weather issues, roadblocks, pandemics, or political unrest:

  • We will attempt to offer alternate trip options.
  • If that's not possible, we will issue a Credit Note valid for 1 year.
  • No cash refunds will be issued.
  • Additional costs due to these circumstances will be borne by the participant.

Trip Cancellation After Departure

  • If a trip is interrupted due to reasons beyond our control, no refunds will be made.
  • Participants bear the cost of emergency evacuations or unplanned arrangements.
  • Trixigo reserves the right to deny requests for mid-trip dropouts.

Unused Services

No refunds or discounts will be provided for unused services due to late arrivals, early departures, personal reasons, or health issues.

Community Conduct

Trixigo reserves the right to refuse requests or services to participants who:

  • Display abusive behavior
  • Use threats or social media defamation
  • Violate community ethics or falsify communication
